It will always be the intention of the school to never close in bad weather. 

 

At Weetwood Primary School, we believe in providing an outstanding service for parents and children. Part of that service means that we remain open even in the depth of winter and deep snow!

However if we do ever have to close the school due to factors beyond our control such as a heating breakdown, we will text all parents as soon as possible to inform them as well as messaging on Class Dojo.

In times of cold weather/snow, children can wear snowsuits and boots to and from school. Wellington boots and other waterproofs are also acceptable when the weather dictates.
